What is your profession? I’m a full time nanny Monday through Friday
How long have you been participating in your sport? I’ve been hiking since I was a small child with my dad.
Who are your biggest influences? My dad would be my biggest influence because he instilled my love for nature throughout my entire childhood and it’s expanded my drive for adventure after adventure.
What is your training regimen? I workout 4 days a week, for at least 1 hour focusing on cardio, endurance and strength training.
How do you structure your days? Each day I wake up 2 hours before work to get ready, eat a hearty breakfast, and grab a coffee before work. Then each day I plan a fun outdoor activity for my nanny kids hoping to light up the same passion for the outdoors for them, that my dad did for me. After work, I head to the gym, then home to relax. On the weekends, I pack up my hiking bag the night before with a gallon of water, a healthy lunch and snacks. Then I go to bed early and wake up around 6am to start my drive towards the mountains! I use the “All trails” hiking app to choose which trail I want to conquer.
Do you find diet to be a crucial part of your lifestyle? Diet is an important aspect of my lifestyle because I’m always on the go, weekdays to weekends. I need to keep my energy levels high. Aside from hiking and the gym to maintain my health, I nurture my body with fresh, unprocessed foods as often as possible.

A lot of the time I choose style over comfort when it comes to hiking socks, so having these prevention pads attached to my shoes allows me to wear whatever socks I want without worrying about awful foot blisters caused by friction.

What is something your followers do not know about you? A lot of my followers assume that I don’t work a lot because it seems that I’m always on an adventure, but I often post photos after the fact. I’m extremely dedicated to my work Monday through Friday. Finding a balance between work and what your passionate about is very possible, and super important.
What keeps you motivated when you are faced with challenges? My motivation that gets me through challenges stems from the great sense of accomplishment that comes with getting through it. Challenging hikes are my favorite because I feel so empowered, strong and proud of myself when I finish the hike!
What is one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring athlete? One piece of advice I would give to an aspiring athlete is to keep your goals small and doable at first and then slowly challenge yourself. Don’t ever be too hard on yourself so you never lose your passion!
